May 2011: Divine is just shy of three years old. She attends baby class at CUS and is our youngest student. She is adorable and definitely a class favorite. She is shy, but attentive to others and seems to be thriving with her peers at school. Her mother drops her off in the morning before school starts, and after lunch, when baby class is finished for the day, she stays and waits at the director's home to take a nap and play with the neighborhood kids until her mother picks her back up around 5. Her mother is a very hard worker, and must go far from the area to make a living for her and her daughter. However, her father is an alcoholic and drinks all of his money, and so her income is necessary for this family to continue to survive. Divine wants to be a nurse when she grows up, and she loves playing with dolls. This month she was given medication for de-worming, and she was able to take part in a fun field trip to Wonder World, an amusement park!
